Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply whenever you ask CG Design & Co. (ABN 25 672 082 550) to design, build, or maintain a website or related work ("the services"). By agreeing to a quote or proposal from us, you accept these terms.
Quotes and pricing
We give you a fixed, written price before any work begins, based on the pages and features you choose. That price won't change once agreed, unless you ask us to add extra pages or features partway through — in which case we'll agree the extra cost with you first. Figures shown by the pricing estimator on this site are indicative until confirmed in writing.
Payment
- A 50% deposit is payable before work begins.
- The remaining 50% is due on completion, before the site goes live or files are handed over.
- Any ongoing care/hosting plan is billed on the 1st of every month.
What we need from you
To keep your project on track, we need you to provide content (text, images, logos) and feedback within a reasonable time when we ask for it. Delays on your side may delay the delivery date.
Ownership
Once the final payment has been made, the website and, if we registered it on your behalf, its domain name, belong entirely to you. Until then, the work remains our property. We may keep and display non-confidential parts of the finished site in our own portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Cancellation
You can cancel a project at any time by telling us in writing. You'll be charged for work already completed up to that point; any deposit already paid covering that work is non-refundable, and anything paid beyond work actually done will be returned. See our Refund Policy for details.
Liability
We'll do the work with reasonable skill and care, but we can't guarantee specific business outcomes (like a particular amount of traffic, bookings, or sales) from a website alone. We're not liable for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control — for example, outages at your hosting provider or a third-party service your site depends on. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute will be handled in the courts there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Any project already agreed in writing is covered by the terms in place when you accepted your quote.
